Top ranking for odontological research

The Institute of Odontology at the University of Gothenburg is number 5 on the QS World University Rankings. But on a scientific level, the institute ranks number 3 in the world.
—We are getting used to being at the top of the list when the rankings become official. And I can see that our position as one of the world’s leading universities within the field of odontology is a secure one, says Annika Ekestubbe, head of institute.
She is also glad that so many of the Swedish higher education institutions get a high position.
—Three out of four higher education institutions within odontology get a position among the 30 best. I think that shows how well Swedish dentistry stands in an international perspective.
